Strengthening Peacebuilding Capacity through Positive Peace

Strengthening Peacebuilding Capacity through Positive Peace brings together youth leaders from across Mexico and Latin America to explore practical approaches to building more resilient and inclusive communities.

The session will introduce the concept of Positive Peace, defined as the attitudes, institutions and structures that create and sustain peaceful societies—moving beyond the absence of conflict to focus on long-term social cohesion, justice and opportunity.

Patricia Garcia, IEP Partnership Development Manager will share insights and real-world perspectives to support participants in applying these principles within their local contexts.
