Roundtable on Demographic Change and Development in Africa

A roundtable discussion hosted by the Australian High Commission in Kenya will explore the relationship between demographic change and development in Africa, with a particular focus on youth demographics, population trends, and their implications for economic and social development.

Drawing on IEP's data and research, the discussion will consider how these demographic trends intersect with peace and ecological stress, bringing an evidence-based peace and security perspective to broader debates on Africa’s development trajectory.
