Bespoke Peacebuilding Training for Rotarians and Peace Advocates in Nigeria

Through the initiative of a Nigerian Rotarian and IEP Ambassador, UNESCO IICBA (International Institute for Capacity Building in Africa), The Rotary Intercountry Committee Great Britain And Ireland – Nigeria, and the IEP have resolved to host a joint training initiative.

The online training will run for two weeks (the week of 14–25 February, 2022) and participants are from across the 37 States of Nigeria. The aim is to teach Rotary members and Rotary Peace Fellows to apply new peacebuilding methods in their communities while addressing underlying causes of conflicts before Nigeria’s domestic challenges spiral out of control and cause unquantifiable humanitarian crisis for Africa and the World at large.
