IPU Conference on the definition of terrorism

Hosted by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), this online conference is part of a series aimed at reaching a consensus on the definition of terrorism, focusing on identifying the key elements.

The event will feature interventions from specialists. Serge Stroobants, Director for Europe & MENA at the Institute for Economics & Peace, will present insights from the Global Terrorism Index (GTI), outlining the definition of terrorism used in the GTI for data collection.
