The session will include a presentation of key findings from the Institute for Economics and Peace 2023 Global Terrorism Index, the most comprehensive measure of the impact of terrorism worldwide. The aim is to infuse local counterterrorism and extremist prevention efforts with a global lens and more accurately compare the impact of terrorism and extremism in the US to the rest of the world.
