Global Terrorism Index 2022 U.S. Launch

Produced annually by IEP, the Global Terrorism Index provides a comprehensive summary of the key global trends and patterns in terrorism. The ninth edition of the report provides a comprehensive summary of developments in 2021, with a specific focus on the Sahel region, political terrorism, and the impact of the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic.

The event is hosted by the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP), the Global Center on Cooperative Security, and the RESOLVE Network, in collaboration with the Global Research Network of the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate.
