The Institute for Economics & Peace (IEP) will be discussing the latest findings from the 2020 Global Terrorism Index at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute in Canberra, with virtual registration to the event open to the public.
Hosted by the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) in Canberra, the event will bring together founder and CEO of the IEP, Steve Killelea, and Peter Jennings, the Executive Director of ASPI, to discuss the report.
The annual Global Terrorism Index, now in its eighth year, is developed by the IEP and provides the most comprehensive resource on global terrorism trends and patterns over the last 18 years.
The report ranks 163 countries (99.7 per cent of the world’s population) according to their level of terrorism and uses indicators such as the number of terrorist incidents, fatalities, injuries and property damage to measure its impact.
