The Institute for Economics and Peace and the Baha’i International Community New York Office are delighted to invite you to the 2022 New York hybrid launch of the Global Peace Index (GPI), to be held at the Baha’i International Community (BIC) Center (866 United Nations Plaza) on the 16th of June, between 10.30 and 12pm.

Produced by the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP), the GPI is the world’s leading measure of global peacefulness and presents the most comprehensive data-driven analysis to-date on trends in peace, its economic value, and how to develop peaceful societies. The GPI uses 23 qualitative and quantitative indicators from highly respected sources, and measures the state of peace across three domains: the level of Societal Safety and Security; the extent of Ongoing Domestic and International Conflict; and the degree of Militarisation.

Michael Collins, Executive Director Americas, Institute for Economics will share key findings from this year’s report
