The AMDC Workshop on development of continental value chains by ASMEs, co-organized by the Interim Secretariat of the African Minerals Development Centre (AMDC) domiciled at the African Union Commission (AUC) Department of Economic Development, Trade, Tourism, Industry, and Minerals (ETTIM) and the Association for Women in Energy and Extractives in Kenya (AWEIK) in collaboration with OXFAM and Tax Justice Network Africa (TJNA) will take place from November 29 to December 1st 2022, in Machakos, Kenya.
The workshop aims to draw actions toward accelerating solutions for ASMEs. This will pave ways forward for ASM mined minerals that will contribute to improving rural livelihoods, stimulate entrepreneurship in a socially-responsible manner, to promote local and integrated national development as well as regional cooperation.
