2026 Global Peace Index Launch - US

On Tuesday, June 9th from 10:30am – 12pm ET, AfP and the Institute for Economics and Peace will host the hybrid launch of the 2026 Global Peace Index (GPI). Produced annually by the Institute for Economics & Peace, the GPI is the world's leading measure of global peacefulness, ranking 163 independent states and territories using 23 qualitative and quantitative indicators.

The conversation will explore key findings of the report, how artificial intelligence is transforming violence and violent conflict, and the impacts of the war in Iran beyond the Middle East.
