IEP is now in its final week of accepting applications for the 2nd cohort of the 2020 Ambassador Program.

The IEP Ambassador program is a free, online program that trains and engages peacebuilders from around the world by providing them with both knowledge and resources which can then be utilised to aid peacekeeping efforts in one’s own communities.

Through a series of webinars, ambassadors will be equipped with an overview of the latest trends in peace as well as an understanding of the driving factors of peace and violence. Ambassadors are then invited to apply the knowledge gained through either presentation or project and are encouraged to adapt the knowledge gained to their own regional, cultural and professional contexts.

We have now trained more than 1,600 Ambassadors from 105 countries on IEP’s research, findings and methodology, and this program allows you the opportunity to join a network of ambassadors through multiple online platforms to connect and learn from one another.

Program benefits

The IEP Ambassador program provides an opportunity for individuals – those with extensive experience in peace as well as those who are newer to the field – to gain concrete knowledge and resources to help foster peace in their communities. This includes an in-depth understanding of IEP’s research and methodology, as well as a concrete understanding of how to communicate peace research.

As an IEP Ambassador, you will connect with peacemakers and other professionals around the world, expand your skills in the areas of peace research, and learn about investing in the factors that build peace.
