Join us for the global launch of the Ecological Threat Report 2023. Produces by the Institute for Economics & Peace, the ETR assesses threats relating to food insecurity, water risk, and natural disasters, all exacerbated by climate change.
Without concerted international action, current levels of ecological degradation will substantially worsen, thereby intensifying a range of social issues, such as malnutrition and forced migration. Current conflicts will escalate and multiply as a result, creating further global insecurity.
Moderated by IEP’s Director of Partnerships, Lea Perekrests, IEP’s Founder & Executive Chairman Steve Killelea will unpack the results of this year’s report. They will be joined by Tony Rinaudo, World Vision’s Principal Climate Action Advisor, who will share his experiences in the environmental and humanitarian spheres, and his work focused on forest and landscape restoration, helping farmers to become self-sufficient through natural farming approaches.
