On the 3rd of April The Hive will host a panel discussion on Measuring Positive Peace and Understanding the Attitudes and Institutions of Peaceful Societies. The discussion will be based on the Pillars of Peace, a research report from the Institute for Economics and Peace that identifies the structures that underpin peaceful societies. The report provides a new conceptual framework for understanding and describing the factors that are associated with peaceful societies. The research is based on an analysis of over 4,000 data sets, surveys and indices; it is the first empirical framework that aims to measure positive peace.
