Get snapping

Peace means many different things to different people. Peace is just as personal as it is political and is often difficult to define. Photographs allow us to express what we think peace might look like, and to capture parts of peacebuilding and peacemaking processes.

Call for Photos

We are putting out a call for photographs from our community and would love to see your photos from your context. We are particularly interested in photos that represent peace and the natural environment, local peacebuilding activities/processes, and peace and technology. With your permission, a selection of photos will be featured in the upcoming Building Peace: A Forum for Peace and Security in the 21st Century the flagship publication of Alliance for Peacebuilding.

We are thrilled to be partnering with the  Building Peace in the search for photos of peace.

Share your photo

Please share your photo with us via email with the subject line: Photos of Peace.

Please also share with us a few lines on how the photo you have chosen represents peace.

We, along with the Building Peace team, will contact you if you make it into the next edition of the magazine.

Happy snapping fellow peace activist.
