2015 Global Terrorism Index Launch Events

Now in its third year, the Index is the world’s leading metric to identify the trends, impacts and underlying drivers of terrorism.

Developed by the Institute for Economics and Peace, and based on the Global Terrorism database aggregated by START at the University of Maryland, this comprehensive study of the impact of terrorism in 162 countries sheds light on key global trends in terrorism, and analyses its changing patterns over the last 15 years. Each event includes a panel discussion with policy makers and experts in the field. You can also join the discussion on twitter with #TerrorismIndex.

The more we understand about terrorism, the better we can counter it.
